Necessary products:

200 grams of butter

200 grams of granulated sugar

1 packet of vanilla sugar

225 milliliters of cream with a fat content of 35% (or homemade cream with a high fat content)

450 grams of milk powder (45%)

roasted porridge for decoration

Method of preparation:

Mix the butter, sugar (and vanilla) in a saucepan and place on the hob (do not use a Teflon-coated pan). Cook until the sugar is completely melted, a homogeneous mixture should be obtained. Add the cream, wait for everything to boil and cook for another 5 minutes. Pour the mixture into a bowl and wait for it to cool to a "warm" state. Prepare a rectangular shape, cover it with greaseproof paper.

Add the powdered milk to the already cooled mixture (you can put half of it first and the rest during the whipping) and beat for a few minutes with a mixer until you get a thick consistency that is difficult to whip (it should not spill).

Pour it into the pan and level the surface with a wet hand. Make strips with the knife to outline the future cooled blocks. Place a cashew nut in the middle of each square.

Refrigerate the dessert for a minimum of 6 hours (preferably longer).

When you take it out of the fridge, pull the paper out of the tray, cut blocks according to the outlines. You should store it in the refrigerator, although at room temperature the form should not spoil and the dessert should not spread.

Enjoy!
