The name vasculitis (vasculitis) defines a group of rare diseases of the blood vessels.

- Food should be taken 6 times a day, chewed very well. Vitamins B, C, K and A should be present in the menu. The use of table salt should be limited.
- In vasculitis, a significant amount of calcium is washed away, so in order to get what you need, you should eat high-fat yogurt products (cream, cottage cheese, milk ...).
- During treatment, the patient may experience a lack of potassium in the body. You can get this through dried fruits (especially apricots, raisins and prunes).
- If the patient has kidney failure, then potassium is contraindicated.
In vasculitis, the following foods and products are recommended for consumption:
- vegetables - steamed or boiled, can in the form of purees and puddings;
- soups - only pureed or dairy;
- porridge - milk or prepared with water, adding oil or butter;
- lean types of cooked meat and fish, the bird to be skinless;
- vegetable fats;
- soft-boiled eggs or steamed omelets;
- sweet fruits and berries (apples, grapes, raspberries, strawberries ...)
- rusks of white flour and old white bread;
- all kinds of fruit and vegetable juices, compotes, sour, smoothies, jam, green tea, rose hips
- decoction (they should all be homemade).
Gradually, during recovery, you can stop eating pureed food, but it must continue to cook.
Dangerous and harmful foods in vasculitis:
- all foods and spices containing allergens, paying special attention to eggs, cocoa, chocolate and citrus;
- large amounts of salt;
- too cold or hot dishes;
- alcoholic beverages;
- fats (excluding vegetable);
- products containing potassium (in the presence of renal insufficiency).
The listed products may impair drug metabolism and lead to liver complications.
