The hypothalamus is a part of the brain responsible for the mechanisms of wakefulness and sleep, changes in body temperature and metabolic processes in the body. Harmful foods for the hypothalamus

  • alcohol: causes vascular spasms, destroys hypothalamic cells and disrupts the nervous system;
  • salt: excessive amounts lead to overexcitation of the nerves; in addition, blood pressure rises, which in some cases can cause bleeding in the brain structure;
  • fatty meat: harmful fats in its composition increase the risk of accumulation of cholesterol plaques in cerebral blood vessels, impaired nutrition of the hypothalamus.
