Learn how to cook "5 things you need to know when making butter cookies". Delicious recipe.
Making sweets for the holidays is a tradition that is not widespread only in our country - the whole world makes various Christmas cookies and cookies. One of the most preferred are butter cakes, as they do not change their shape when baked and have a very delicate taste that is not intrusive.
But to prepare the perfect butter cakes, you need to know a few subtleties, which we will now share with you.
1. Butter and cream cheese give the biscuits an incredible taste - the best sugar cakes have a high content of butter and cream cheese. The large amount of butter products makes the biscuits very tender and adds a delicate aroma.
2. Do not overdo the kneading. Strictly follow the recipe and once you get a good texture, do not continue to knead the dough, adding more dry or wet ingredients. This will make it heavier and it will not be so tender after baking, in addition, its consistency will be disturbed and it will not be easy to process.
3. Roll out the dough before baking. Most butter biscuits need to be cooled before they can be baked. But in fact, it is best to roll out the dough after making it. Then put it in the fridge for 30 minutes and cut out the shapes. This way you will not have to worry that the dough will soften during processing.
4. Freeze the dough for up to 1 month. You can safely freeze the cookie dough and store it for 1 month without spoiling its properties. The reason for this is the high fat (oil) content. Just wrap the butter dough tightly in cling film, put it in a plastic or metal container and put it in the freezer. If you are ready and willing to use it, leave it to thaw in the refrigerator overnight, then act in the way you already know.
5. The biscuits are ready before they turn brown. Most biscuits are baked until golden brown, but this rule does not apply to butter cookies. If you bake them following the above rule, they will become very crispy and lose their delicate texture. Therefore, you should bake them for about 5 minutes, and when they begin to acquire a slight color, remove them from the oven.
