Learn how to cook "Autumn compote with white wine and cinnamon". Delicious recipe.

Required product and:

3 teaspoons water

1 orange, unpeeled and cut into thin circles

1 lemon, unpeeled and cut into thin circles

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup dried cherries

1 teaspoon of seedless grapes

450 - 500 grams mix of dried fruits (prunes, pears, peaches, apricots, apples, figs)

1 teaspoon sweet white wine

8 whole cloves

4 cinnamon sticks

Method of preparation :

Pour the water into a saucepan, pour the sugar into it. Put on medium heat and stir until the sugar is completely melted. When this happens, add the dried fruit, white wine, orange, lemon, raisins, cherries, cloves and cinnamon sticks. Allow the compote to boil over medium to low heat (about 20 minutes) until the fruit softens and the liquid should acquire the texture of a syrup. Stir periodically. Then pour the grapes, leave the compote for another 2 minutes on the stove, then remove the pan and allow the drink to cool to room temperature.

The compote is stored in the refrigerator in a container with a tightly closed lid. The taste is preserved for 3 days. Serve in tall glass cups. If desired, strain beforehand.
