Required products :

  • 8 slices of bread about 1 cm thick (square shape)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons grated cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Cut the crusts into slices of bread. In the middle of 4 cut a circle with a diameter of about 3.5 centimeters. Grease the whole slices with oil and put one on them with a hole, grease them with oil. In each cut circle, tap one egg, being careful not to spill out of the space made for it. To make it easier, you can first beat the eggs lightly with a fork, then pour into the bread. Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste, sprinkle the bread around the eggs with the grated yellow cheese.

Bake the appetizer in the oven for about 5 minutes at a temperature of 160 degrees.
