Required products :

1 kg of bananas
1 kg of sugar
1/3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 teaspoon ground cloves
1 liter of water

Method of preparation :

Peel a banana, grate it and squeeze the juice. Add sugar, aromatic spices and pour water. Beat with a mixer, the combination should acquire a uniform consistency.
Then transfer the fruit mixture to a large saucepan and place on the stove to boil, stirring constantly. When this happens, reduce the temperature and let the jam cook on low heat for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
Optionally, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (or to taste) 10 minutes before removing the pan from the heat.
After boiling the bananas, add 1 tablespoon of cognac or a little vanilla, vanilla sugar or another favorite flavor that goes well with the taste of the fruit.
If you use vanilla or vanilla sugar, first mix it with some of the puree, which you then add to the total mass.

Distribute the finished "dough" evenly (thick layer) in a wide bowl (tray or other suitable). Let cool and firm, then immerse the bottom of the pan for a few seconds in hot water and turn its contents on a sheet of parchment. If desired, you can pre-sprinkle the paper with powdered sugar.
Cut the banana sweetness into small cubes using a sharp knife dipped in oil before use.

You can roll the finished candies in powdered or granulated sugar.

Enjoy your meal!
