Required products :

  • 1 cup ground graham crackers (or plain biscuits)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter

for the filling:

  • 3 egg yolks at room temperature
  • 1 can of 400 grams of condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • bark of 1 lime
  • for garnish - slices of lime

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 175 degrees.

Mix the ground crackers with the butter and sugar.

Press into a 16 by 16 cm tray to form a tray.

Bake for 10 minutes, then cool.

The stuffing

Beat the yolks with a mixer until fluffy. Add the condensed milk, lime juice, salt and citrus peel.

Pour the mixture over the marshmallows and return to the oven for 10 minutes until the cream is firm.

Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 4 hours. Sprinkle with finely grated lime peel or nuts of your choice if desired.

Before serving, wait a few minutes for the dessert to relax and cut into squares. Put a thin slice of lime on each piece.

* If your dessert is not sweet enough, you can add a little sugar when beating the yolks.
