Required products :

  • 4 teaspoons flour
  • 2 teaspoons yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 grams of boiled white beans
  • 1/2 cup of the water in which you boiled the beans
  • 100 grams of melted butter or lard
  • 1 teaspoon dried savory
  • butter, black pepper, salt

Method of preparation :

Mix the eggs with the yoghurt. In a bowl, sift 3 cups of flour with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and add the milk-egg combination. Knead the dough, which should not be hard, gradually adding the remaining flour.

Shape into a ball, place in a bowl, cover with a towel and leave for 30 minutes.

Mash the cooked beans (if the resulting pulp is too thick, pour a little of the decoction), sprinkle with dry crushed savory, ground black pepper, salt and stir.

Melt the selected fat and add it to the bean puree. Stir thoroughly.

Divide the dough and the filling into 4 parts, which you shape into balls of approximately the same size.

Roll out the dough into small circles. In the middle of each put a portion of beans and close with batter to keep the filling inside.

Turn back and roll out in a circle 5-7 millimeters thick (adjust the diameter to that of the dish in which you will bake the cakes).

Heat a frying pan over high heat and bake until golden brown on both sides.

When you take the finished cakes out of the bowl, immediately grease them with plenty of butter.

Have a good time!
