Required products :

  • 1 oil pie crust with a diameter of 23 centimeters
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 tea cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest, finely grated
  • pinch of salt

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar.
  • Add the flour, melted butter, buttermilk, vanilla, lemon juice, grated lemon peel and salt. Stir.
  • Place the butter crust in a pie tin or in a pan of suitable size and pour the cream into it.
  • Bake for about 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow the caramel cream to cool completely before cutting the pie.
  • Serve with a smile and enjoy.
