Required products :
green peas
the marinade:
1 liter of water
3 tablespoons salt
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
One liter of marinade is enough for 3 half-liter jars.
Method of preparation :
Mix the water, salt and sugar, put on the stove and when it boils, add the peas. The liquid should cover the peas completely. Once everything boils, leave on the stove and let it cook for 15 minutes. At the end of cooking, add the lemon juice.
Remove the peas with a slotted spoon and place in pre-sterilized jars, leaving about 1.5 cm of empty space on top. Pour over the boiling marinade and close the jars. Store in a cellar or refrigerator.
