Learn how to cook "Casserole with bacon, spinach and boiled eggs". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 14 eggs
  • 9 slices of bacon
  • 1 large onion, cut into thin crescents
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Gruyere cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons + 1 tablespoon cream
  • 1 potato, finely chopped
  • 150 grams of baby spinach

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 175 degrees.

Roll out the dough to cover the edges that result from dissolving the sheet and cut 14 strips about 1 cm thick. Put the rest of the dough for the next use. Put the strips in a pan and store in the refrigerator.

Boil 6 eggs until ready, cool them, peel and cut in half.

Meanwhile, fry the bacon until crispy and drain on kitchen paper. Cut it into small pieces and place in a bowl.

Save 2 tablespoons of bacon fat and fry the onion in it until soft - about 5-7 minutes.

Grease a rectangular pan (you can use that of frying bacon).

Beat the remaining eggs and add the cheese, salt and pepper, nutmeg and 2 teaspoons of cream. Add potatoes, spinach, onions and bacon. Stir and pour into the pan, flatten, and put the boiled eggs on top.

Form the strips as a net on the dish and spread with a little cream.

Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown.

Cool for 15 minutes before cutting
