How To Cook Chicken Legs With Caramelized Onions And Apples - Recipe

Prepare legs with apples, served with mashed potatoes and caramelized onions. The dish is prepared quickly and is a great dinner for weekdays. The products are among our well-known foods, but the combination of meat and apple makes the dish unique.

Required products :

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 lower chicken legs
  • pepper
  • 2 onions, one cut into crescents and the other into small pieces
  • 1 apple, peeled and sliced
  • 1/3 tea cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • left
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 diced potatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream
  • 1 egg

Method of preparation :

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and fry the legs until they acquire a light brown crust. Season with salt and pepper.

Transfer to a plate and set aside.

Put the onion, cut into crescents, in the pan and cook for about 8 minutes.

Add the apples and stir to roll in the fat. Put the legs on top and pour the vinegar. Cover with a lid and cook for 12 minutes. 

In a clean pan pour the remaining oil and add 1 tablespoon of oil. When melted, add finely chopped onions, fry until soft. Add the garlic and season with salt, black and red pepper.

Remove from the heat.

Boil the potatoes and add the cream, salt and egg. Knead to make a puree. Pour the fried onions over it.

Serve the legs with apples and puree.
