How To Cook Chocolate Cake With Avocado And Icing (without Eggs) - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Chocolate cake with avocado and icing (without eggs)". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products

For swamps:

  • 3 teaspoons flour
  • 1 medium-sized avocado (peeled and pureed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon oil
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

For the glaze:

  • 2 medium sized avocados
  • 2 teaspoons powdered sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method of preparation :

While you make the dough, turn on the oven to heat (at 180 degrees) and prepare two forms, which you grease with oil or cover their bottoms with baking paper.

Mix the dry ingredients for the marshmallows (flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder, sugar) and set them aside for the moment.

Separately mix the oil, water, vinegar, vanilla extract and avocado puree.

Combine the two mixtures and divide the dough into two forms. Bake the tops (it takes about 30 minutes, check the readiness with a toothpick), leave them to cool, and in the meantime work with the glaze.

Puree the two fruits that you have previously drenched and pitted. Add powdered sugar, citrus juice, honey (or maple syrup), cocoa, vanilla extract and beat everything (you can use a blender or beat by hand).

When the finished countertops have cooled, spread them with half of the glaze and place them on top of each other.

Apply the rest of the sweet coating on the surface and walls of the cake.

You can decorate with pieces of avocado or other fresh fruit.

Enjoy!
