Cramble is a dessert that is most often made from caramelized fruit, baked with a crispy sugar crust.

But if you don't like fruit desserts, make yourself a chocolate crumble cake.

Required products :

  • 200 grams of dark chocolate, cut into pieces
  • 150 milliliters of cream
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (natural)

for sprinkling:

  • 100 grams of sugar crystals (choose one with larger crystals)
  • a little powdered sugar to sprinkle
  • 100 grams of cold butter, cut into cubes
  • 150 grams of flour

Method of preparation :

Turn on the oven to preheat to 190 degrees.

Put the chocolate in a fireproof bowl.

Heat the cream until it boils, and immediately remove from the heat. Pour it over the chocolate and wait for 1 minute. Then stir to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Add the cornstarch and combine.

Pour the chocolate mixture into a pan and leave to cool for about 10 minutes.

Prepare the sprinkles for the crumble cake - put the butter, sugar and flour in a blender or food processor. Combine the mixture with a few pulsations, you will get crumbs.

Sprinkle the chocolate filling with the sweet crumbs and bake for about 20-25 minutes until the sprinkles are golden.

Remove from the oven and allow the dessert to cool slightly for 5-10 minutes.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.

And to be able to enjoy a real crumble, be sure to serve with chocolate if you wish.
