Fluffy cloud breads are easy to make, low in carbs and each contains less than 40 calories, making them perfect for people who are watching their weight. After trying them, you will wonder if you really need bread for your sandwiches.

Necessary products:

  • 1 egg
  • a pinch of cream tartar (you can replace with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice)
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese or 1/3 cup skim Greek milk

Method of preparation:

First, preheat the oven to 250 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper or a silicone pad.

Separate the egg white and yolk. In a large bowl, place the egg whites and tartar sauce and beat until you get a cream with hardtops (as for kisses). Stir in the yolk and milk to make them look as fluffy as possible. Mix the two creams carefully to maintain the airy consistency.

Using a spoon, divide the mixture into 6 equal parts in the pan. Place in the oven and bake for about an hour. Once they are ready, leave them to cool for a while in the pan and then place them on a wire rack until completely cooled. It is important to cool them properly to get a crispy crust.

The bread that you did not eat right away can be stored in a box in the refrigerator.
