Necessary products:

 

  • 2 teaspoons yogurt
  • 3 eggs
  • 300 grams of sugar
  • 150 grams of butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • finely grated lemon peel
  • 13 tablespoons corn flour
  • 2 tablespoons semolina
  • 4 tablespoons sugar for garnish

 

Method of preparation:

 

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a 10 inch square pan. Separate the yolks and beat them with the butter, sugar, lemon zest, yoghurt, vanilla and baking powder.

Mix semolina with corn flour, beat the egg whites in the snow and combine the three mixtures. Stir until the products are smooth and pour into the pan.

Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes until golden. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with sugar and return until caramelized. Cool, slice and serve the corn dessert.
