How To Cook Cream Of Apple Cider Soup With Toasted Cheese Baguettes - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Cream of apple cider soup with toasted cheese baguettes". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 30 grams of butter
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 100 milliliters of apple cider
  • 1 small potato, peeled and diced
  • 2 sprigs of thyme + 1 teaspoon of thyme leaves for serving
  • 450 milliliters of chicken broth
  • 50 milliliters of high-fat cooking cream
  • 1/2 apple, peeled and grated

for siren baguettes:

  • 2 baguettes (or slices of bread)
  • 20 grams of cheddar cheese (or yellow cheese), grated
  • 10 grams of dried apples
  • 1 stalk green onion, chopped

Method of preparation :

Heat the butter and fry the onion and garlic until soft. Pour the apple cider, potatoes and thyme stalks, simmer for 2-3 minutes. Pour the broth and cream and cook until the potatoes are soft. Remove the thyme and blend the soup until smooth.

Toast the baguettes on both sides. Garnish with cheddar cheese (or yellow cheese), dried apples and green onions and bake in a preheated oven until the cheese melts.

Serve the cream soup in bowls and garnish with grated apple, thyme leaves and toasted cheese baguettes.
