How To Cook Cream Soup With Melted Cheese, Ham And Croutons - Recipe

Required products :

2 liters of water
melted cheese to taste
1-2 potatoes
2-3 tablespoons small pasta (for example, Orzo)
100 milliliters of cream with fat content of 10-15%
1 onion
1 carrot
1 tablespoon butter
100 grams of ham
2-3 slices white bread
salt, ground black pepper, bay leaves, chopped fresh parsley - to taste

Method of preparation :

Pour the water into a saucepan and place on the stove.
Peel the potatoes, onions and carrots, cut them.
Once the water boils, add the potatoes, bay leaves and salt to taste.
Stew onions and carrots in butter and at the end of cooking add cream to them.
Pour the pasta over the potatoes.
Put the melted cheese in a bowl and pour some of the hot broth. Stir to melt, then add to the pot with the potatoes. Next are the vegetables stewed in butter with the cream and the diced ham. Let the soup boil for a few minutes and then season with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and remove from the heat.

Make croutons out of bread. Cut the slices into cubes and bake in a dry pan until crispy. Serve the soup with them.
