Required products :

500 grams of flour
10 grams of baking powder
100 grams of butter
50 grams of sugar (if you want salt dough, use less sugar)
1 egg + 1 yolk
pinch of salt
coarse salt for sprinkling

Preparation :
Add the leavening agent to the flour, sift together. Cut the cold butter into cubes directly into the flour, then chop with a knife and grind with your hands until you get butter crumbs.
Add the beaten egg with the sugar and a pinch of salt. Knead a soft dough and let it rest for half an hour.
Roll out a thin layer and cut into strips, each of which form as a salt, twisting the dough.
Cut into equal lengths of sticks and arrange in a greased pan. Spread them with beaten egg yolk (with a teaspoon of water or fresh milk) and sprinkle with coarse salt or sugar crystals (depending on what sticks you want to get - sweet or salty).
Bake the saltines on medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
Yes, you are crispy :)
