Necessary products:
2 tablespoons oatmeal
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 lemon
1,250 liters of boiling water
Method of preparation:
Grate the lemon peel without peeling it beforehand, then squeeze the lemon and strain the juice. Mix the oats, sugar, ginger and peel in a suitable bowl. Pour boiling water over everything, put on low heat and stir constantly. Just before the mixture boils, add the lemon juice and let the liquid boil for 10-15 minutes.
Cool and strain.
Served hot, the drink warms in winter, and cold - cools and quenches thirst in summer.
