Learn how to cook "Easy cake with chocolate icing and cognac". Delicious recipe.

Necessary products

For swamps:

  • 150 grams of butter
  • 1.5 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 milliliters of liquid cream
  • 250 grams of full-fat thick sour cream
  • 180 grams of flour
  • 1/2 sachet baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 70 grams of cocoa
  • 2 - 3 tablespoons cognac

For the glaze:

  • 80 - 85 milliliters of cream
  • 100 grams of dark chocolate

Method of preparation :

Melt the butter, pour in the sugar and stir. Add the eggs and both types of cream, then the flour with the baking powder, baking soda, cocoa and cognac. Stir quickly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Cover the bottom of a suitable form with baking paper, grease with oil and distribute the dough evenly. Place in an oven preheated to 170 - 180 degrees and bake for 40 - 45 minutes.

It is important not to keep it in the oven for too long. The dough should be soft to the touch, but not liquid. It is best to check the readiness with a toothpick - when you stick it in the middle of the swamp, wet crumbs remain, but liquid chocolate.

Remove the cake from the oven and leave in the form for another 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, make the glaze.

Bring the cream to a boil and remove from the heat. Add to it the chocolate that you have previously broken into pieces and stir until completely melted. Pour the finished icing over the finished cake and you can wait for the coating to harden if you wish.

Enjoy your meal!
