Required products :

  • 500 grams of almond paste
  • 3 teaspoons powdered sugar
  • 2 whipped egg whites

Method of preparation :

Cut the almond paste into small squares and place in the bowl of a mixer.

Add the powdered sugar and stir on low until the almond paste is crushed. You can also use a food processor to grind the products.

Add eggs in a thin stream until everything is a homogeneous mixture, if this happens, before you add the whole amount of egg white, you do not need to put more of it.

 

When the marzipan forms into a ball, sprinkle the top with powdered sugar and mix until completely smooth and flexible texture.

If desired, use immediately or wrap in foil and store in a plastic bag with a zipper. You can store 3 months in the refrigerator or 6 in the freezer. Before use, leave the marzipan at room temperature to relax.
