How To Cook Easy Pasta With Chicken Meatballs And Chorizo ​​- Recipe

Required products :

  • 500 grams of pasta in spirals
  • 2 chorizo ​​sausages, raw (spicy sausages)
  • 500 grams of minced chicken
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 700 grams of tomato sauce
  • 150 grams of baby spinach
  • 1 teaspoon fresh basil leaves + more to serve
  • 180 grams of baby mozzarella

Method of preparation :

Boil the pasta until ready in salted water, drain and keep warm.

Meanwhile, grind the sausage in a food processor and add the minced meat to it. Combine and shape into small meatballs, which you arrange in a tray.

Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the meatballs for 3-4 minutes. Transfer them to a plate.

Fry the onions in the same pan until soft. Add garlic, tomato sauce and bring to a boil. Return the meatballs to the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes until the meat is ready and the sauce thickens.

Finally add the spinach and basil.

Put the pasta in a deep pan, pour the meatball sauce on top. Sprinkle with baby mozzarella and bake for 3-5 minutes on the top rack in the oven. When serving, sprinkle with more basil.
