How To Cook Fettuccine With Milk Sauce And Crispy Bacon - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Fettuccine with milk sauce and crispy bacon". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1 packet of fettuccine (pasta or other pasta)
  • 2 pieces of smoked bacon, cut into small cubes
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup low-fat milk
  • 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Method of preparation :

Prepare the fettuccine according to the instructions on the package. Drain in a colander and keep 1/4 cup of the liquid.

Fry the bacon until crispy, then transfer it to a plate.

Saute the garlic for 1 minute, stirring constantly, in the fat separated from the frying of the bacon. Add the flour and continue to stir for 30 seconds. Pour the milk in a thin stream and stir until it thickens. 

Reduce heat, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Season with salt and pour the remaining 1/4 cup of the reserved liquid. 

Pour the fettuccine into the pan, sprinkle with bacon, parsley and black pepper. Stir and serve.
