Prepare the fettuccine according to the instructions on the package. Drain in a colander and keep 1/4 cup of the liquid.
Fry the bacon until crispy, then transfer it to a plate.
Saute the garlic for 1 minute, stirring constantly, in the fat separated from the frying of the bacon. Add the flour and continue to stir for 30 seconds. Pour the milk in a thin stream and stir until it thickens.
Reduce heat, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Season with salt and pour the remaining 1/4 cup of the reserved liquid.
Pour the fettuccine into the pan, sprinkle with bacon, parsley and black pepper. Stir and serve.
