Finely chop the onion and fry it in hot olive oil. Then add the finely chopped hot pepper and garlic cloves, cut into thin slices. A minute later, add the chopped sweet peppers, and a little later the tomatoes. Let everything prepare until the liquid evaporates in the vessel. Then season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
Make a hole in the vegetable mixture and beat the egg in it, making sure the yolk stays whole.
