Required products :

  • 75 milliliters of water
  • 1 tangerine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 50 grams of dried dates
  • 50 grams of dry ground mustard
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 40 milliliters of vinegar
  • 50 grams of prunes

Method of preparation :

Pour hot water over the dried fruits and leave them in it for 30-40 minutes to soften.

Wash the tangerine, dry it. Grate the bark and squeeze the juice.

In a small bowl, mix the ground dry mustard with honey, citrus peel and juice, vinegar and half a teaspoon of salt. Mix everything well, pour 75 milliliters of hot water and stir again. A liquid combination is obtained, which you leave for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, dry the already softened fruits, then cut them into pieces. Pour into a blender bowl and add the honey-mandarin mixture with the mustard.

Be brave. If you prefer to feel pieces of fruit in the finished sauce, do not make the combination homogeneous.

Transfer the mustard to a glass jar, close it and put it in the fridge. After 6-8 hours you can use.

The sauce is ready for consumption for no more than a month (be sure to store in the refrigerator).

Enjoy your meal!
