Necessary products:

5 tea cups large unripe green grapes of gooseberries

1 kg of sugar

2 tea cups cherry leaves

3 teaspoons water

2 tea cups walnuts

Method of preparation:

Peel a gooseberry, carefully cut the berries and remove the core with the seeds, trying to preserve the integrity of the fruit. Pour 1 cup of cherry leaves with hot water and simmer for 3-5 minutes. The water should remain green. Strain it, pour it over the grapes and leave for 24 hours in a cool place. With the remaining cherry leaves, do the following: remove the rough parts and divide each leaf into 4 parts. Drain the decoction from the fruit and put a piece of cherry leaf or walnut in each grain. Spray the grapes with alcohol (vodka). Put the sugar in the cherry decoction and boil the syrup (about 15 minutes) over low heat (be careful not to turn "pink"). Pour the grapes into the finished syrup and let it boil for 15 minutes. Then cool very quickly - this is extremely important, because this will preserve their green color. Fill into jars and close.

Enjoy your meal!
