How To Cook Guzeri With Yellow Cheese And Garlic Butter - Recipe

Required products :

For the dough:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup grated yellow cheese
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • a pinch of black pepper

For spreading:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic


Method of preparation :

Mix the milk and butter, place on the stove and as soon as the liquid boils, pour the flour into it. Add salt, a pinch of black pepper, stir and remove from the heat.

Then stir once more, return to the stove and cook at a moderate temperature for 2 minutes.

When the dough has cooled a bit, beat the eggs in it one by one, stirring thoroughly after adding each. Add the yellow cheese and mustard.

Line a tray with parchment paper, scoop out the dough with two teaspoons and shape the loaves into the bowl, leaving space between them.

Then place in the oven at 220 degrees. When the loaves increase in size, reduce the temperature to 190 degrees.

Twelve minutes later, spread them (while hot) with melted butter mixed with chopped parsley and crushed or finely chopped garlic.
