Learn how to cook "Hamburger with beef meatballs, caramelized onions and mushrooms". Delicious recipe.

Method of preparation :

  • 3 onions, chopped in bulk
  • 600 grams of mushrooms, coarsely chopped
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh marjoram leaves, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 3/4 tea cup grated Gruyere cheese
  • 800 grams of minced beef, shaped into 4 meatballs
  • 4 loaves
  • fried onions

Method of preparation :

Grind the onion in a food processor and transfer it to a bowl. Grind the mushrooms in the same way until you get very small pieces.

Heat 3 tablespoons butter in a pan and fry the onions for 2-3 minutes, then add the mushrooms and fry until the water evaporates and the mushrooms turn brown (for about 8-12 minutes). Add the marjoram, season with salt and pepper, a minute later remove from the heat and set aside.

In a small saucepan, heat the remaining butter and add the flour, stirring to make a paste. Add the milk, stirring constantly to make a sauce. When it thickens, add the grated cheese and remove the pan from the heat. Season with salt and pepper.

Season the meatballs again with pepper and salt and grill until done. Transfer them to a plate and leave for 5 minutes.

If necessary, warm the mushrooms and white.

Assemble the sandwich, put half of the bread from the mushrooms, followed by the meatball, sauce and sprinkle with fried onions. Serve the sandwich immediately.
