How To Cook Homemade Marinated Mackerel - Recipe

Required products :

2 large fresh frozen mackerels
1.5 liters of water
3 tablespoons top with coarse salt
1.5 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons dry black tea
2 full handfuls of onion peels

Method of preparation :

Thaw the mackerel, clean it, cut off the head and tail, wash and dry.
Wash the onion flakes thoroughly.
Pour the water into a saucepan and dissolve the salt and sugar in it, add the tea and the flakes.
Bring the liquid to a boil, close the pan with a lid and turn off the stove. Let the solution cool, then strain and pour it over the fish that you put in a glass or enamel container. Close with a lid.

Allow to stand at room temperature for 3 days, turning twice a day (morning and evening).

You should rinse the mackerel under running water and smear it with vegetable oil (this way it will be stored longer and will have a more appetizing appearance). Wrap in parchment and refrigerate. To be consumed within 3 days.
