Required products :
- 450 grams of strawberries, well washed and cut into quarters
- 3/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 tea cup of water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- milk
Method of preparation :
- In a saucepan, mix the strawberries, sugar and water and heat over medium heat.
- When the mixture simmers, reduce the temperature and simmer for about 10 minutes, foaming periodically.
- Remove the pan from the heat, add the vanilla extract and stir. Allow to cool for at least 1 hour.
- Strain the strawberry mixture through a sieve, squeezing the fruit with a spoon to squeeze as much juice as possible.
- Transfer the strawberry syrup to a clean glass bottle, close it tightly and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Prepare strawberry milk by mixing 1 teaspoon of fresh milk with 1/4 teaspoon of strawberry syrup.
- Serve with a smile.
