Learn how to cook "Honey pears in puff pastry with cinnamon and vanilla". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 4 pears
  • sheet of puff pastry
  • 4 teaspoons water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 lemon
  • vanilla stick
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 - 8 cloves

Method of preparation :

Peel the pears. Mix the water, sugar and honey in a suitable saucepan, bring the water to a boil over medium heat. As soon as the sugar dissolves, add the pears, vanilla stick, half a lemon, cinnamon and cloves. Allow the fruit to cook for about 20 - 40 minutes (depending on how ripe they are, you should be able to easily pierce them with a fork).

Preheat oven to 190 degrees. When the fruit is soft enough, take it out of the pan and let it cool a bit.

Cut the dough into narrow strips to wrap the pears. Attach the dough around the stalks of the fruit.

Arrange them in a tray lined with baking paper and place in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes (until golden brown).

Bring the syrup to a boil over low heat, pour it into a suitable container and place the pears.

Enjoy your meal!
