Learn how to cook "Lamb with green onions and baked potatoes". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
2 kg lamb leg
1 kg potatoes
3 cloves garlic
1 lemon
2 - 3 stalks fresh oregano
green onion to taste
butter
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation :
Make incisions in the meat, which are filled with pieces of garlic and a little oregano. Squeeze the lemon juice and cut the peel into thin strips.
Grease the bottom of a suitable dish, put the lamb and pour the citrus juice.
Close the pan with a sheet of aluminum foil and place the lamb in a preheated oven for about an hour and a half (maybe a little longer). Then turn the leg on the other side, pour the juice, cover with lemon strips, put the chopped green onions, cover again with foil and return to the oven. Leave to bake until done.
In a separate bowl, arrange the peeled and cut potatoes in half and bake with butter.
If you prefer, cook them together with the meat.
