Learn how to cook "Lasagna with tortilla, cheddar and minced meat". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 4 tortillas with a diameter of 20 cm
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 570 grams of minced beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot red pepper
  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes (800 grams)
  • 2 teaspoons cheddar
  • 170 grams of cream cheese
  • 2 green onion stalks for decoration
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

In a large dry pan, bake the tortillas on each side for 30 seconds. Cut them into strips 2.5 cm wide and set them aside until needed again.

Finely chop the onion and crush the garlic cloves with a press. Heat the fat in a pan and fry until translucent - about 5 minutes. Add the minced meat, season with cumin and hot pepper. Season with salt and pepper. Chop the meat into small grains and cook for another 5 minutes until the minced meat is browned.

Then add the tomatoes and fill the empty can with about 1/3 of the water and pour it into the pan. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat.

Put half of the tortillas and push them under the sauce with a wooden spatula. Add half of the cheddar cheese and the remaining tortilla strips and dip them in the sauce again. Cover the dish with a lid and cook until the sauce thickens, about 8 minutes.

Add the cream cheese and stir it into the sauce. Sprinkle with the remaining cheddar cheese and simmer until melted - about 2 minutes and turn off the heat.

Leave the lasagna under the lid for 10 minutes. Garnish with green onions before serving.
