Required products :
1 cup lentils
2 cloves garlic
1 bay leaf
1/2 onion
salt to taste
1/4 tea cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped green onions
1 can of tuna
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 tea cup olive oil
Method of preparation :
Put the lentils in a suitable bowl, add half of the crushed garlic, bay leaf and finely chopped onion. Pour 1 liter of water, put on the stove and as soon as the liquid boils, reduce the temperature to moderate. Add salt to taste, close the pan with a lid and let the lentils cook for 30 minutes on low heat until soft.
Then remove the bay leaf and onion. Place a strainer / sieve on another container and pour the lentils to drain the broth.
In a separate bowl, mix the canned tuna with the chopped parsley and green onion. Then add the lentils to them.
Make a sauce of lemon juice, vinegar, mustard and the remaining garlic. Pour olive oil and 2 tablespoons of the broth that you strained earlier.
Season the lentils with it and mix thoroughly.
