How To Cook Marinated Goat Cheese With Herbs And Olive Oil - Recipe

Required products :

  • 220 grams of fresh goat cheese
  • 1 teaspoon allspice seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 2 strips of orange peel
  • 2 fresh bay leaves
  • 1 star anise
  • 1/3 tea cup olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
  • 1 baguette, thinly sliced
  • sea ​​salt

Method of preparation :

Cut the cheese into large chunks, put them in a bowl.

Crush the allspice and coriander with the flat side of a knife, and separate or crack the seeds.

Put a small saucepan on the stove and mix the garlic, orange peel, bay leaf, star anise, olive oil and hot pepper. Cook over low heat for about 15-20 minutes.

Drizzle with the aromatic olive oil over the cheese and let it taste for 30 minutes.

Bake the baguette slices in the oven for 5-8 minutes at 220 degrees until golden.

Add salt to the cheese and serve with toasted slices.
