How To Cook Milk-egg Cream English (for Cakes And Pastries) - Recipe

Learn how to cook "English milk-egg cream (for cakes and pastries)". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 400 milliliters of fresh milk (you can use liquid cream)
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • vanilla

Method of preparation :

Beat the yolks in a bowl, add the sugar. A white fluffy mass should be obtained.

Heat the milk (almost to boiling) and add the vanilla.

Then pour in a thin stream at the yolks, stirring constantly.

When you have added all the milk, return the liquid back to the pan.

Place it on the hob and heat until the cream starts to thicken.

You can check the readiness with a wooden spoon. When the milk mixture stops flowing from the appliance and a thin layer remains on it, run your finger in the cream, if there is a groove, it is a sign of readiness.

Cool immediately. You can do this by placing the bowl in a bowl of cold water.

Before you prepare a cake or a favorite cake with it, let it stand in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours.

Enjoy your meal!
