How To Cook Onion Dip With Sour Cream, Cream Cheese And Thyme - Recipe

Required products :

  • 3 onions
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons sour cream (fat content 15%)
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

 

Method of preparation :

Peeled onions finely chop, fry together with thyme for 20-25 minutes until the color becomes caramel (during this time, stir periodically).

Pour the balsamic vinegar and soy sauce, leave the mixture on the stove for another 10-12 minutes until the liquid has completely evaporated. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the onion to cool.

Meanwhile, with a mixer or blender, beat the cream with the cream cheese and a little black pepper. Add the onion and beat once more.

Serve the finished dip with toast or sliced ​​fresh vegetables.
