Required products :

  • 200 grams of flour
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 40 grams of sugar
  • 50 milliliters of oil
  • 2 onions
  • 1 teaspoon spices of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
  • 50 grams of butter

 

Method of preparation :

Dissolve the yeast, sugar and some of the flour in warm water (about 100-120 milliliters). Stir and add the remaining flour, oil and salt to taste.

Thoroughly knead the dough, cover with a lid and leave in a warm place to rise. When this happens, knead once more and add more flour if necessary.

Stew the finely chopped onion in a dry pan until red and soft, watching and stirring in the meantime. Add spices, salt and a pinch of caramelized sugar. Heat for five minutes, stirring.

 

Roll out small circles from the dough, which should not be thin. Spread onions on them and shape into loaves. Wait for them to rise and arrange them on a sheet of parchment. Coat them with a little sourdough to get a glossy finish after baking.

 

You can make "teeth incisions" with culinary scissors and so you will have interesting onion hedgehogs as the end result.

 

Bake until done. The approximate time is a quarter of an hour, but this depends mostly on the oven.

Grease the hot cakes with butter and then serve.
