Required products :

  • 1 1/2 kilograms of potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons dried mint
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon lubricating oil

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat oven to 230 degrees.
  • Peel the potatoes and grate them in a large bowl.
  • Peel an onion and grate it in the same bowl.
  • Add the oil, dried mint and eggs. Stir and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Grease the bottom of a round pan with butter and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of flour.
  • Pour the potato mixture and press it with your palms.
  • Sprinkle with the remaining 2 tablespoons of flour.
  • Add a few pieces of butter and bake for 45 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve the patatnika warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
