Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1/2 cup rice (Arborio)
  • 2 green cambias, cut lengthwise, without seeds
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian spice mix
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 finely chopped tomato
  • 1/2 cup crushed feta cheese

Required products :

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

In a saucepan, boil the rice in a glass of water on low heat under a lid for 20 minutes.

Roast the peppers for 25-30 minutes with the cut side down until their skin turns brown.

While they are baking, heat a frying pan with the fat and fry the onion with the spices for 2-3 minutes. Add the tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes. You should put the tomatoes and rice, stir and remove from the heat. Add the shredded cheese and fill the peppers.

Return to the oven for 5 minutes and serve warm.
