Required products :

200 g pork liver
200 g pork
1 onion
1 carrot
6 prunes
bay leaf
pepper
salt

fresh milk for liver processing

Method of preparation :

Put the liver in a suitable container and fill with fresh milk. Leave it to stand for a while, then cut it together with the meat into approximately equal pieces.

Fry them briefly in finely heated oil (or lard).

Separately fry the chopped onion and grated carrot until soft.

Mix them with the meat and liver, season with ground black pepper to taste, but do not add salt at this stage to keep the liver soft.

Fill the pots with the resulting meat-vegetable combination and put 1 bay leaf and a few prunes in each bowl.

Fill with hot water to reach the middle of the dishes. If you have used lean meat, add a little fat to the pots.

Place the pots in the oven and let the dish cook at a temperature of 150 degrees until the liquid at the bottom turns into a thick sauce.

You can serve with a garnish of mashed potatoes, cereals or vegetable salad.

Enjoy your meal!
