How To Cook Potato Cake With Chicken Salad And Mayonnaise - Recipe

Required products :

  • 6 large potatoes, boiled and cut into circles
  • 1/4 head onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and lightly crushed
  • 500 grams of boiled chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 1/3 tea cup boiled carrots
  • 1/3 tea cup peas
  • pinch of garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • the juice of 4 limes
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons chili
  • slices of avocado, hard-boiled eggs and olives for decoration

For the sauce:

  • 1/2 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcester sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brandy or vodka

Method of preparation :

Boil the potatoes with onions and garlic until cooked.

Then drain them and return to the pan. Cover with a lid and place back on the hot plate to allow the vegetables to dry.

After 15 minutes, remove from the heat and mash the potatoes with onions and garlic. Cool to room temperature.

While the potatoes are cooling, prepare the chicken salad.

Chop the meat, add peas, carrots, mayonnaise, garlic powder and mix well, try and season with salt and pepper.

Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, chili sauce, lemon juice to the potatoes and stir again. Add salt.

Grease a form with falling walls with olive oil and put 1/3 of the potatoes on the bottom, press well.

Now put the whole amount of chicken salad, and on top of the remaining mashed potatoes.

Cover the pan with foil and refrigerate overnight to set.

Garnish with avocado, boiled eggs and olives before serving.

Mix the sauce with mayonnaise and ketchup and pour.
