How To Cook Potato Casserole With Minced Meat And Peas - Recipe

Required products :

  • 500 grams of minced meat (optional)
  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 250 grams of peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 1-2 onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 70 milliliters of oil
  • 10 grams of parsley
  • 20-30 grams of tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon spice for meat
  • 1 teaspoon spice for potatoes
  • salt to taste
  • 50 grams of mayonnaise
  • 100-150 grams of yellow cheese


Method of preparation :

Heat the oil, fry the peeled and diced onion in it until transparent.

Peel a carrot, grate it, pour over the onion and fry together for 3 minutes.

Add the vegetable mixture to the minced meat and fry until cooked through (about 10 minutes on low heat).

Then add the tomato puree, stir, stew for two minutes and pour the peas into the mixture. Stir again and stew the stuffing for 5-7 minutes. Season at the end of cooking.

Transfer the minced meat with the vegetables to a greased pan and spread an even layer on the bottom.

Peel the potatoes, grate them and arrange them on the minced meat. Flatten.

Sprinkle with spices, add mayonnaise and finish with coarsely grated cheese.

Bake in a preheated 190-200 degree oven for about half an hour.
