Learn how to cook "Quick cakes with cheese, milk and carrots". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
350 grams of flour
200 grams of yellow cheese or other hard cheeses (Cheddar, Emmental ...)
200 grams of cream cheese
100 milliliters of milk
1 medium carrot
50 grams of butter
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
salt
Method of preparation :
Grate yellow cheese and carrot. Sift the flour together with the baking powder and a pinch of salt in a large bowl, then mix the prepared products.
Melt the butter, let it cool a bit.
Pour the milk with the cream cheese, add the sugar and 2 tablespoons of butter.
Pour this mixture into the bowl at the first and quickly knead the dough (do not knead for a long time, because the cakes will become hard).
Divide the dough into 6 parts and place on a floured surface. From them form loaves with a thickness of 1 centimeter.
Cover the bottom of the tray with parchment and arrange them in it. Pierce their surface in several places with a fork and bake them in a preheated oven to 220 degrees for about 15 minutes (until golden).
When removed, place on a plate and cover with a towel. Once cooled a little, grease with melted butter and serve.
