Roasted chestnuts are said to be tastier than cooked ones. There is something true, when baking it always works

Required products :

  • 350 grams of chestnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon spice mix - allspice, cardamom, nutmeg and others of your choice

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Use a sharp knife to make a cross at the bottom of the chestnuts, cutting the shell well, but not cutting the chestnut itself from the inside. Transfer to a pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until the crusts begin to open on the cut side and the nut appears.

Meanwhile, mix the sugar, salt and all the spices.

Allow the chestnuts to cool until you can safely hold them in your hand and peel them.

Sprinkle with the spice and serve.
