How To Cook Roasted Leeks In Ham And Milk Sauce With Yellow Cheese - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Roasted leeks in ham and milk sauce with yellow cheese". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

4 stalks of leeks

150 grams of boiled or raw smoked ham

4 teaspoons butter

30 grams of flour

350 milliliters of fresh milk

80 grams of yellow cheese

30 grams of old bread

salt and pepper

other spices of your choice and taste

Method of preparation :

Wash the leeks and clean them of excess layers. Cut into pieces according to the size of the dish you will use to cook it.

Grate the yellow cheese and grind the bread in a blender to get crumbs.

Pour water into a suitable container, add salt, place on the stove and when it boils, put the leeks to cook for 12 minutes. Then remove from the water, drain and dry to avoid a watery appetizer.

Cut the ham into thin and as long pieces as possible and wrap the leeks in them. Arrange the rolls in a lightly greased pan.

In a separate bowl, melt the butter, add the flour and fry, stirring constantly with a wire whisk. Pour the milk and let the sauce boil until thickened, not allowing lumps to form.

Season to taste, turn off the heat, add the grated yellow cheese and stir until the latter dissolves.

Pour the sauce over the leeks and sprinkle with the crumbs. Place the dish in the oven at 200 degrees and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Enjoy your meal!
