Required products :

  • 150 grams of white bread
  • 125 milliliters of meat broth
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 750 grams of minced meat of your choice
  • 500 grams of potatoes
  • 75 grams of grated Parmesan + a little to sprinkle
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

For the sauce:

  • 200 grams of canned tomatoes
  • 60 milliliters of meat broth
  • 2 teaspoons hot mustard

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 190 degrees. Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper.

Cut the crust into slices of bread and break the soft part into small pieces.

In a large suitable bowl, mix the bread, broth, egg, onion and spices. Wait 2 minutes for the bread to absorb the liquid and soften and add the minced meat. Mix everything well and form a square layer measuring 25 x 25 cm on a sheet of parchment.

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Add parmesan, parsley, salt to taste and stir. Spread the resulting mixture on the base of minced meat and roll into a roll, using paper. Pinch the edges and "seam", place the roll in the prepared pan (with the seam facing down) and bake it in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes.

You can boil the potatoes and mash them together with parmesan and parsley, also add greens or other products of your choice.

It's time for the tomato sauce, which you prepare by pureing canned tomatoes together with mustard and meat broth. Add spices to taste. Pour over the finished roll and return to the oven for another 10 minutes to bake and form an appetizing coating.

Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve the temptation hot.

Enjoy your meal!
