How To Cook Salmon In Puff Pastry With Spinach And Mustard - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Salmon in puff pastry with spinach and mustard". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1 salmon fillet
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 teaspoon coarse mustard
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • left
  • pepper
  • dill

for cheese sauce:

  • 100 grams of cream cheese
  • 10 grams of mayonnaise
  • lemon juice
  • oregano

For spreading:

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons fresh milk

Method of preparation :

In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and mayonnaise, along with the juice of half a lemon and oregano to taste. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.

Stew the spinach briefly in a little fat until it softens (you can, if you wish, heat it in the microwave - the effect will be similar).

Season the salmon with salt and pepper.
Spread a sheet of puff pastry and lightly roll it out, divide it in half in the middle.

Place one sheet in a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Spread the mustard in the center, put the spinach on top and the salmon fillet on top. Arrange the products diagonally on the puff pastry. Cover the fish with the cheese sauce. Spread the mixture of egg and milk around the fillet.

Place the next sheet of salmon on top and press with a fork, following the shape of the fish fillet. Then spread generously with the egg mixture.

Using a knife, cut out the excess dough to get a fish-like shape and decorate with light incisions resembling flakes. With the rest of the dough, shape the mouth of the fish and the tail.

Bake for 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. Garnish with dill before serving.
